Our team consists of enthusiastic people with a passion for the ocean, nature and healthy food. The South West Algarve is still untouched and many fall in love with the area. The owners, Niek and Katrien, came to Portugal 10 years ago for the first time and fell in love with this special place that has so much to offer. They created this amazing place while surfing in their free time. Together with the chef and the cleaning team they make sure you have an unforgettable holiday.
Katrien, was born in Antwerp, Belgium. After her studies Marketing she traveled and worked in tourism in the Alps. This is where she met Niek.Their travels together brought them to Portugal where they made a home for their sons Morris and Louis. The lodge is the perfect place to enjoy nature, ocean views and the calmness of this area.
During our women only retreats our mission is to bring women from all over the world together. Salt water cures everything. Many come here to relax and empty their heads. They want to let go or look for support and new friendships. Surrounded by sweet and caring people, learning something new or just to play in the ocean, nurture their bodies and souls.
The lodge is the perfect place for welcoming any group or spend with your family. In Winter and Summer we rent out the lodge as a holiday home for families and groups. The lodge is fully equipped and is only a 5 minutes walk away from a secluded beach
Such a hidden gem! I honestly had no idea just how amazing of an experience this villa would be. An unbelievable view from the terraces alongside the Home and our room and only a 5 minutes walk to a relatively secluded beach with a great bar. This home also hosts a surf and yoga camp, so when we arrived there were people from around the globe – so incredible friendly! The owners interacted with us daily and the fish bbq they host on Tuesday’s is a must. It is located in a quiet town, but still very close to Lagos and the more popular beaches. Can’t wait to come here again
Back home, and still can’t get the smile of satisfaction off my face 🙂 My ChicksOnWaves yoga and surf week was amazing!! From the first moment we arrived it made me realize that life is good 🙂 AND I finally mastered the art of catching, getting up AND riding a bunch of waves. I’m hooked, surfing is amazing and this trip was just the beginning of a new direction! Thank you to everyone that was involved! See you again next year!
