Bursting with sunshine and known for its laid back lifestyle, the Western Algarve is the perfect holiday destination to relax. It has a fantastic culture and a beautiful unspoilt countryside. There are endless outdoor activities on offer in this part of the Algarve, the choice is yours. You can catch amazing waves at some of Europe’s best beaches. Or you could go and explore the stunning Algarve coastline on a paddleboard or go for a hike. This region offers great walking, climbing and cycling options for all levels, beautiful coastal sceneries, panoramic views and a rich plant and bird life. If you like to play golf, there are also plenty of options nearby. Or go visit one of the historical towns in the area for a bit of culture, like Sagres or Lagos.

From December 2021 the Lodge will be available for hire as a self-catering private villa ideal for families or hosting your own retreat or coaching week. This beautiful boutique villa has 7 ensuite bedrooms with a total of 16+3 beds that can be made up either as a single, twin or a double room. We are ideally located only 5 min walk from the beach and in between the typical fishermen’s villages Burgau and Salema . This villa is also a perfect place to gather with a couple of families. Services such as cleaning and a chef can be added to your stay.

Such a hidden gem! I honestly had no idea just how amazing of an experience this villa would be. An unbelievable view from the terraces alongside the Home and our room and only a 5 minutes walk to a relatively secluded beach with a great bar. This home also hosts a surf and yoga camp, so when we arrived there were people from around the globe – so incredible friendly! The owners interacted with us daily and the fish bbq they host on Tuesday’s is a must. It is located in a quiet town, but still very close to Lagos and the more popular beaches. Can’t wait to come here again
Back home, and still can’t get the smile of satisfaction off my face 🙂 My ChicksOnWaves yoga and surf week was amazing!! From the first moment we arrived it made me realize that life is good 🙂 AND I finally mastered the art of catching, getting up AND riding a bunch of waves. I’m hooked, surfing is amazing and this trip was just the beginning of a new direction! Thank you to everyone that was involved! See you again next year!
